Mines View Park is one of the popular tourist attractions in Baguio City. It is located at the Northeast side of the City around 4 km away from the Baguio downtown.

The main attractions of the Mines View Park are that tourists enjoy the breathtaking and spectacular view of the Benguet’s Gold and Copper mines and the Cordillera Mountains.

Tourists need to go down to the observation deck and for just aound P5.00 – P10.00; you can already rent the binocular for a closer look of the Mining area and the surrounding mountains. Some of the good views are not visible around in the afternoon because of the fog so you better go here earlier so that you will enjoy sceneries of the Mines View Park.

Your tour won’t be complete without taking good pictures of it. Photographers are around just in case you want to have good pictures taken. Souvenir items like native handicraft such as wood carvings, locally made silver products and jewelry, baskets, brooms, sweaters, blankets and many others can be bought near the entrance stalls and at the Good Shephered Convent.

Mines View Park is always the next stop after visiting the Wright Park Riding Circle, Wright park, the Mansion and the Good Shepherd Convent.

How to Get there at Mines View Park?

Private Cars: There are two alternative ways which you can choose from. This route is longer than the other one; however, it is prettier because you will see many Baguio Attractions along the way. Start at the Session Road then climb up and turn to Leonard Wood road, past Teachers Camp and Botanical Garden, Pacdal Rotunda and go straight up to C.P Romulo Drive and pass through the popular destinations too the Wright Park Riding Circle and The Mansion.

Jeepneys: Jeepneys are available heading through the Mines view park at the Plaza-Mines View Line.
